Smart SOT227 is our own  version of intelligent power module. It is a patented product similar to the standard SOT227 or ISOTOP products that are designed to cater for a higher level of functionality. The concept is to offer a packaging solution that will provide certain level of product integration that design can allow.

Therefore, Smart SOT227 is a product designed to:

  • Integrate the gate drive and the power circuit into one package
  • Create a single product alternative for simple application circuits
  • Offer a certain level of product integration and still allow flexibility in design for application engineers.

  • Expanded POD for hybrid circuits, smaller footprint
  • With DCB, easy to implement layout revisions
  • 2nd layer board included for additional control circuit, gate drivers, or device control interface
  • The leads final form can be configured in several ways:
    •  power leads can be in bolt type or fast on type 
    •  small signal leads can be in board mount or plug in connector type.
